watch: acrylic

Walking around Milan we saw clear acrylic used to make all sorts of things. More than once we saw it in translucent colors—even fluorescent colors—but the Swatch store door handle was the most unique with watch parts floating in it.

A little bit can have a dramatic impact without being loud. It’s become a modern classic since it goes with everything—just like a little black dress. To get the look, check out our peekaboo tables.

I LOVE acrylic things - cool furniture and accent pieces! I'm a sucker for anything translucent. Thanks for the post!

I'm also a HUGE lover of anything acrylic/ lucite and have managed to add a lot to my home, both new and vintage, without it looking overdone or like a blast from the 80s. It's a great way to make a small space look bigger, and it adds sparkle glam factor just like mirror and metallics. I really hope CB2 continues to carry their line of clear acrylic furniture, display and office pieces. Although I'm personally a big fan of vintage, not everything has to be old and the pieces I've gotten from CB2 have been great!
