Thanks, CB2, for featuring a bully breed rescue dog in your advertising. It looks like you've found a star.

Thanks for putting a pitbull in your catalog, its small steps like this that get people to see how sweet these dogs really are.

As a foster mom to rescue dogs, and specifically to pitties, thank you, thank you, thank you for choosing to feature a rescue animal (and one of a breed type that is among the most prevalent in shelters and the most difficult to appropriately home) in your ad.

We work hard to de-stigmatize these dogs, and having a prominent ad campaign feature one helps us with those efforts.

I am a consumer of good, clean design and I guarantee you will be seeing some (more) dollars from my wallet.

You guys are absolutely amazing. At a time where pit bull type dogs are being euthanized for their breed, you take one and put the animal in your ad. What huge respect you have gained from the animal community. And the dog is a shelter dog which is a double plus. You guys are showing the world that AWESOME dogs don't have to look a certain way and don't have to come from a pet shop, because the best dogs are the ones who come from shelters. Again, thank you for being activist or at least showing you do care we all really appreciate it. You have my vote.

Thank you so much for featuring Spirit, a bully mix. The bullies are wonderful, loving, sweet, affectionate dogs. Millions of them die in shelters every year due to misconceptions, lies and false stereotypes. We need more people to get to know these dogs and to adopt them. I will be buying a new dinning table this Christmas, and you featuring a Bully is all I need to know that I will be buying from CB2. Please feature more rescued bullies going forward. Thank you.

What a pleasant surprise to see such an adorable pup in the pages of your catalogue! Thanks for featuring a breed that's often overlooked by mainstream media, and creatively helping dogs in need. I had no idea CB2 had those values ... I'm thrilled!

Thank you for including the engaging and lovely photographs Spirit Man and for sharing the statistics regarding pet overpopulation. The inclusion of a misrepresented and maligned breed such as the American Pit Bull Terrier in your marketing material also shows a welcomed openness of mind. I just signed up for email design ideas and offers!

What a handsome boy! His story is lovely and I love the fact that he's been given a home...he seems like a very nice boy. Thank you for featuring him in your catalog.

Thank you for featuring a pit bull type dog! They're amazing models with those adorable grins and excellent posture! Not to mention they're typically quite beautiful and easy to work with as you've obviously noted!

LOVE this! Thank you so much for promoting pet adoption and for featuring a gorgeous black pittie! Sadly, black dogs don't get adopted as easily as other colors, and pitbulls don't have much chance of making it out of a shelter alive. Thanks so much for highlighting this issue and using a less typical - but striking - dog for your model. You just earned my loyalty as a customer!

Oh Spirit is so beautiful! I am another pit bull and rescue fan adding my praise to the others CB2: well done! I must tell you, all the furniture in your catalog becomes that much more appealing when it features a handsome friend like Spirit showing it off. Love it!

I just did a double take while looking through the latest CB2 catalog...I can not tell you how happy I was to see an adorable rescued Pit Bull! My Pittie was due to be euthanized the day the rescue organization found him at the shelter. They are amazing dogs and SO many are put down In shelters. The more the breed is shown in a positive light, as Spirit was, the more people will start to learn the truth about these much abused and maligned dogs. Thank you.

Thank you so much for including a pit bull type dog in your catalog! I help run a pit bull rescue, and it's so nice to see a pit bull featured positively in a major retailer's catalog.

I hope CB2 continues to have rescue dogs and cats in all their catalogues, just great.

Does Spirit have a furever home yet? Where is he now? He is adorable.

I loved your play on words Paula--and thanks for asking since there seems to be some confusion about the rescue dogs we feature as models.

Luckily for all the dogs, they have permanent homes with wonderful people who have taken them in as family--they're the ones who have lived first hand and supplied the background 'get to know' scoops.

For information about adoptees currently in need of a permanent home, please reference the links in each posting--and good luck!

thanks so much for featuring Pits in your catalog - I work with Pit rescues here in LA and have three of my own - we have such a tough job because of all the breed discrimination, but it helps so much when folks like you use Pits in your products to show what great dogs they really are.

thanks again - I will shop at your store this weekend!!!

Thank you for featuring a rescue in your recent ad. And, importantly, for providing information about pet overpopulation and adoption. These are such important topics and I commend CB2 for being so responsible. I wasn't familiar with CB2 until I saw your ad with the pit bull and now I will have to check out your company so I guess your advertising worked, too!

OMG it's crazy to see my dog on here I just wish I could find the pictures that were in the catalog! Well if you're wondering where spirit is now he's lying right next to me snoozing away! We're so blessed to have rescued a boy as good as spirit. He's the perfect dog. We're so incredibly lucky! Thanks to everyone saying how beautiful he is! If only you could all see him in person!
