Nickname: Alley Chihuahua (since he was picked up in a Chicago alley by animal rescue).Favorite hang-out: He loves to perch on the arm of the sofa and watch the neighborhood happenings outside the picture window—we call it his “Dog TV”. Favorite snack: No snack is left uneaten….and we’re happy that he especially loves mint flavored dental treats! Pet Peeve: Loud noises… must be those super-bionic ears! Before he was famous: We rescued Felix on October 4th from the Chicago Animal Care and Control facility on the south side. We were told that he was a stray and he had been in doggie jail for at least 3 weeks. Interestingly, he was the only smaller dog that seemed relaxed in this loud and boisterous environment. We took that as a sign that he would fit in with our laid-back atmosphere at home. Well, once we got him home he showed us his true personality! Not only is he a cautious, thoughtful little guy but he loves to play fetch and run around the apartment! We’ve been training him for the “good life” and he is slowly beginning to understand the daily routine and that he has found his forever home.
