The statistics are astounding—approximately 1 in 8 women will develop breast cancer at some point in their lives. Not only will we be there to support the women who have completed or who are undergoing treatment, we’re participating for the future health of all women. The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation is the nation’s largest funding source for research dedicated solely to breast cancer. The good news is that currently there are 2.5 million breast cancer survivors living in the US. So together, we know we can make a difference!

First started in 1997, this is the 14th annual race. For the second year, we’ve assembled a CB2 team to participate in Chicago’s Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure taking place this Saturday, September 25th. We hope you can join your local event or come out to support those participating.

We could spend the rest of our lives looking for the words to express the overwhelming emotion and gratitude we felt when we saw the sea of orange at the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure on September 26th, but we know that we will never find them.

Together, our team of 44 raised over $15,000 —the most of any team in the Chicago area.

For the first time, we’ve assembled a CB2 team to participate in Chicago’s Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure taking place this Saturday, September 26th. 80% of our merchandising team are women but breast cancer has touched every member in one way or another; so we’re dedicated to raising funds with strong hopes a cure is found soon.
